Why Electro-hydraulic Actuators?

The combination of extremely high packing friction (high temp packing) and the soft compressible nature of pneumatic actuators results in poor positioning that results in undesirable temperature swings.

The high duty cycle required of these valves quickly disables conventional electro-mechanical actuators. Poor frequency response also results in poor temperature control.
